Description
Ziegler Farahan rugs embody timeless elegance, perfect for enhancing any room in the house. Their history dates back to the late 19th century, when entrepreneur Ziegler recognized Western taste for Oriental rugs and commissioned the first models in Sultanabad (now Arak, Iran) in 1883, entrusting their creation to Persian master artisans.
Made with high-quality wool and delicate vegetable dyes, Ziegler rugs are distinguished by a sober color palette ranging from ivory to cream, to intense tones of red, black, and blue. A special stone washing process gives them a particular charm: a natural luster and a slightly worn appearance, which makes them immediately recognizable.
Their short pile makes them practical to clean and also ideal as dining room rugs. Their stylistic peculiarity is a design that covers the entire surface, without the traditional central medallion, framed by borders decorated with sober elegance.
Today, as a century ago, Ziegler Farahan rugs are chosen for their refined versatility, capable of naturally integrating into both classic and modern spaces, becoming a focal point of style and prestige.
